Go2 STD (2 —9 employees)

Illnesses and injuries happen every day to anyone at any time. That’s why offering Short Term Disability (STD) coverage is so important.

If elected, employers will offer a benefit amount of 60-percent of weekly earnings to a weekly maximum benefit amount of up to $1,500, with the entire benefit guaranteed issue.

At Kansas City Life, we know giving choices is valued by clients. Employers will choose from either a 13- or 26-week benefit duration as well as either a first day accident, eighth-day illness and eighth-day accident, or eighth-day illness elimination periods.

Sometimes it’s not always what’s in the contract, but also what is not. With the Kansas City Life Go2 STD product, there are no pre-existing condition limitations, nor is evidence of insurability required as long as employees enroll timely.

The Go2 STD product may be offered on an employer-paid or voluntary basis.
